Dress Code

We would politely ask all members and visitors to maintain a smart and tidy appearance at all times whilst enjoying their visit to the club. In line with this approach the regulations are designed to help this aim. As a private members club, the dress code for ladies and gents can differ, therefore a common sense approach has been taken in compiling these regulations.

On the Course:

1. Hats/Caps: Not to be worn in reverse
2. Shirts and all other tops must have collar and sleeves (mock neck is accepted).
All tops must be tucked into the waistband of trousers at all times. Only when wearing shorts
can shirts (which have been so manufactured) be worn outside of the waistband.
Football, rugby and t-shirts are not permitted.
3. Shorts: Knee length tailored shorts only with socks which must be white (Long, calf length, or ankle/trainer).
4. Trousers; No Jeans, cargo wear, cropped trousers, track-suits and trousers that have external pockets down the side of the leg. All other trousers permitted, but must not be tucked into socks.
5. Shoes: Golf Shoes only (with the exception of juniors, who may wear trainers on the course). No metal spiked Golf shoes are permitted on the course or in the Clubhouse.

In the Clubhouse:

1. Hats/Caps: Not permitted.
2. Shirts and all other tops must have a collar and sleeves (mock neck is accepted).
All tops must be tucked into the waistband of trousers/shorts at all times. Dress shirts, which
are designed to be worn outside of trousers, are allowed. Football, rugby and t-shirts are not permitted.
3. Shorts: Knee length tailored shorts only. Shorts may be worn in clubhouse until closing time, unless there is a function, when shorts will not be permitted after 7pm.
4. Trousers: No cargo wear, cropped trousers, trousers that have external pockets down
the side of the leg and track-suits. All other trousers permitted including smart jeans.
5. Shoes: No trainers are permitted other than for juniors.
6. Formal Occasions: Such as the AGM or Presentation Evening, Gentlemen are requested to
wear a shirt and tie, and all other times smart casual dress, is required.
7. Mobile Phones: May only be used on silent alert and must be used outside of the clubhouse.

THESE RULES ARE TO BE ADHERED TO BY ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS ALIKE. THE STAFF HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED NOT TO ALLOW PLAY ON THE COURSE OR THE PURCHASE OF ANY GOODS UNLESS THE DRESS CODE IS FOLLOWED.
------------------------------------------
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF THE CLUB THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISCIPLINE INDIVIDUALS NOT ADHERING TO THE ABOVE REGULATIONS.
